Focus and Metering Mode

Hey Everyone,

Can someone explain to me the difference and advantages of using Focus vs Metering Mode? I've tried searching and can't find much information specifically related to the Mavic's modes. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure Focus is for focusing the camera on various objects/distances and Metering is used to set the exposure level. For example if you have a dark foreground and a bright background and you select Metering and then tap the dark foreground it will brighten up but the background will be too bright (overexposed).

Simply to toggle whether a tap of the screen adjusts focus or exposure on that zone.
