Free editing software ?

Hello

Can you post some FREE editing software here that can handle 4K. I saw some in other post , but it will be clear if it's all at the same place

I'm new to video, but I'm used to photography editing.

Does Virtualdub can do a good job ? I tried it a few times for timelapse.

Try Da Vinci Resolve 12.5! I just started learning it a few weeks ago and I don't think I'll ever miss Final Cut Pro X again. It's so powerful, NLE work flow is well refined, and the colour grading bits are a joy to use!

Downside: I heard it's asking for a mid-high editing rig for 4K. But it's free anyway so definitely give it a shot!
