Hi everyone, bought my first drone ( mavic) on Wednesday. Rang all the distributors in Aus and the second last one I called had plenty in stock. Ducked down and picked it up. Well I've had 4 hrs flight time now and all is well. Absolutely wrapped with how the mavic performs. The distributor stated when I picked it up the the range is reduced on the Aus model mavic to 4km. I'm yet to try this but have been out to 1.5km with no problems.

There is some good info on here so I though I'd join up.

Congrats on your New Mavic Pro and welcome onboard MavicPilots
Well, the max range your Mavic Pro could go is 7 kms, but not in Australia. Based on your location it will switch between FCC (7 kms) and CE (4 kms).
