In reviewing flight logs I'm noticing Gimbal Pitch Reached Movement Limit messages. Interestingly it seems as though this happens only in Sport Mode. I wasn't recording at the time and there were no excessive winds. Perhaps a quick deceleration or acceleration would cause these error messages? The gimbal was not being moved with the controller either, it was in the normal forward flight position. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, this is likely because of the sport mode causing the gimbal to reach its limits during hard maneuvers. Keep in mind that even when you are not recording the gimbal is still doing its job and trying to keep the camera stable. It is not a racing quad :)

I've noticed this in my logs too when flying in sport mode. It's working as designed though.

As I wrote on another thread, I had this warning, but on the same time I had micro shakes 1-2 sec on my recordings. Did anybody else had micro shakes?
