Gimbal sticker

Is there a practical reason behind the sticker with a yellow tab on the gimbal? I've seen a lot of videos where it is not removed. I thought removing those stickers from all surfaces is part of unpacking a new toy. Isn't it?

You can remove it. It's just protective packaging -- like the stickers on everything else.
