Sure you trade off some performance, but should be safer so we don't have a repeat of the #SFbayMavicSplash. Any thoughts, anyone tried it yet? Reactions: metamatic

I would have to imagine they impact even more with the cages equipped. As long as you are aware of the difference, I highly doubt it would be bad for the machine. (I could very well be wrong about this)
