Havent been able to fly past 2000 feet

I have yet to be able to get past 2000 feet away from me even on flat ground. Do trees have any effect? Today its cloudy but still had connection to 12 satellites but started to lose connection after 1900 feet. Am I missing something?

Yes. Make sure there are no trees and/or other obstacles between the Mavic and the remote controller.

How many satellites you have shouldn't matter if its the radio controller connection your losing. Are you flying low? You should have a clear line of sight between you and the MP so a little altitude helps. Check the bar graph for the controller signal, Is it losing signal strength all at once or a little at a time?

i was flying low at about 150' the signal str goes down to no bars then back up to 3 then down to one then back up .

Ideas: Try flying in another area. Unfold the antennas so that they are at a 45 degree angle, pointing up. If you have any trackers or other equipment stuck onto the body, remove it.
