Hi, new mavic pilot here! I got it last Friday after a long 4-day wait

It's not my first drone as I use to own the very first Parrot ArDrone. I also flew electric powered RC helicopter a while ago...

I decided to get the drone after I met another Mavic owner flying his drone near Crissy field in San Francisco. I was very impressed by all the technology the Mavic Pro has to offer and after thinking about it for a couple of days, I decided to get one!

So far managed to fly it a couple times, mostly in Glen Park, near my house in Noe Valley, Dolores Park and Pier 14. Overall very happy by its performance!

Looking forward to sharing more with the community.

Crissy field is completely illegal to fly. I know you said "near," but most of that area if not everything is restricted. It's covered under the Golden Gate Transportation District. Careful where you're flying it.
