Hello and thanks for offering this site - it's great idea

I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a DJI drone for quite some time, but just about 10 days ago went ahead and bit the bullet to buy a Mavic Pro. Honestly I haven't flown the drone much because I've been trying to assimilate the use of the controller and just learning the ins and outs. But today I took it out for a good while today (only to find the batteries had begun to auto-discharge). Anyway, I'm getting up to speed but still flying in beginner mode at least for the moment.

I'm wondering if anybody has put together a pre-flight checklist so as to not recreate the wheel. Also, any thoughts on essential accessory gear (leg extensions, landing pads, filters, sun shields, etc) would be appreciated.
