Hi,

Can somebody shed some light on following question.
How does DJI Mavic stores the flight information from apps like Litchi, DJI GS Pro and alike?

When using these waypoint flying apps i asume that all information is send to the MP and at that time it follows the instruction in a sequential way. But is this assumption right? Some of these apps ask what to do when there is a loss of contact, Continue or RTH.

Knowing this is it wise to use this approach when filming and flying around huge objects where you can expect to loose 'line of sight' and as a result loose contact?

What else can happen?

With Litchi at least, the waypoint mission is sent to the drone, the drone will fly it, regardless if the signal is lost it will continue. You can tell it to land after its last waypoint, or return to home and land. I am wondering if its possible to send it to a distant location and have it land there.. Charge the battery, and use another controller after pairing to send it back :) That's what amazon will want customers to do with their drone delivered parcels... you get $2.00 off your next delivery if you change their battery so the thing can get back. haha
