My MAVIC has the long and much talked about blurryness on 1 side on most of pictures (left side for me)...
It's not a HUUUUGE deal but it doesn't allow for perfect picture on all sides...which you would normally expect from such an expensive drone.
Anyway i booked an appointment to bring it for repair the lens at the HONG-KONG DJI Flagship store and i was told that it would need 1 month of working days (so i guess 5 weeks) before i can get in back.
because they need to send it to SHENZHEN (which is basically connected to HONG-KONG via metro !)
part of that delay , according to that DJI staff, is because CUSTOM clearance of CHINA would need to inspect such device in and out...very strange
So i decided to give up as i didn't want to wait over a month without MAVIC . Also i was not even sure DJI would indeed fix that issue the proper way (maybe fix the blurryness on teh left side but bring another bluryness on the right side lol)
That staff also proposed me (since i have DJI CARE REFRESH) to ask for a replacement which would be faster ...but still would require 3 weeks of waiting and me to pay the charge (600 HKD / around 80 usd for the first replacement).
In case this information could be of any use for anyone.
I wil keep the MAVIC and send it for repair or replacement when i have a more serious issue.
Maybe if i ever travel to Shenzhen i'll check out the DJI shop there and see if they can take it faster.
