IPhone 6 status showing disconnected

I use a standard iPhone 6 connected to the controller with the short micro USB/lightning cable.
Recently when flying, the iPhone screen shows disconnected and goes blank. Not showing disconnected from the aircraft, this is what happens when you disconnect the cable from the controller to the phone.
I purchased a new cable and cleaned the connections, but sometimes I get the same situation occurring.
Can the DJI Go4 cause the phone disconnection, the phone is acting like it is making and breaking with the controller. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My own experience and those of others I have read here seems to show that DJI Go 4 is unstable and disconnects far too easily. Until DJI gets it fixed I suggest practicing your controller only flying.
