Is it possible? Mod to charge iPhone while flying?

I am wondering if some sort of split cable can be used/made to simultaneous be connected to the RC and to a Power Bank through Lightning connector?
Is it technically doable?

Hopes others chime in as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.... but I believe the RC will charge the iPhone through the connected cable and then you can plug a USB battery pack into the USB port on the bottom of the RC to keep it topped off and in turn the iPhone also.
