Latest Dubai Rules?

I'm off to Dubai week after next.
I'm not really sure of the latest for Dubai. Scoured these forums.
Gut feeling is to not bother taking it, as its probably not worth the stress/aggro.
Anyone know though? As I'm bound to feel frustrated when I get there.

I know its late, but for future reference, having your drone with you is fine, as a hobbyist, you should have a license and your drone needs to be registered.

That's kind of surprising considering the all of the BASE jump videos I keep seeing online. I guess things are getting out of control.
