Lawsuit emerged in California stating that Lily Drone used video from GoPro camera to market their failed drone. Here's the news link:

This isn't news. A few other Lilly posts here already.

The issue isn't that they did this, but that they weren't clear on the "simulated results" and handled all the pre-orders themselves rather than an established Kickstarter-like site that made the investing risks clear for a product still in early development.

I always had doubts in their concept. A water-proof drone with powerful camera would have looked different. Just a small fixed lens on front side of the body is not enough to get such videos and pictures as they promised in their advertisments.
But the lawsuit may be useless as there is no money at this bankrupt company.

Claims they still have all preorder money in "cold storage" and buyers will get money back.

I doubt it.....
