Lost gps

My Mavic is my first drone, I have around 20 successful flights. I fly around my house mostly, and today had an interesting occurrence. I was in gps mode flying the same pattern as usual for around 10 minutes, then I seen another drone fly near me, as soon as he was close to me I lost gps, it keep going in and out of gps for around ten seconds at a time. I was able to land but was wondering can another drone somehow interfere with my gps connection.

What could cause the drone to lose its gps signal? Any input would be appreciated.
