When Mavic battery hits %0, is this the "Literal" ammount of juice left?

Or is %0 when DJI's take on a Auto Lipo Cut kicks in?

i know it will fall from sky either way.
I just wanted to know if I am damaging my battery by running below %20

I read the general rule for LiPo's is not to go below %80 capacity as this will greatly shorten
the life of the battery, thus the Auto-Lipo cut in on my other r/c vehicles

The Mavic will force a landing before the battery does an auto-cut. Not sure of the percentage but it's nowhere near 0%.

The chemistry of LiPo is unchanged, it sounds like you are familiar with it. But the battery has its own leveler/charger/thermal sensor/lipo-cut system inside its case. Also the Mavic can update the battery firmware, the battery keeps track of how often it has been charged, and can report its estimate of degradation of capacity.

You can run the battery down until it shuts off. It will shut off before it reaches a level that will harm the battery.

As for when to land, check out this thread.

Thanks halley, msinger
I had hoped it's "Intelligent.tm" designation meant it had a bit more going on than a standard 2s Lipo.
gosh knows the last thing you want is your fuselage puffing up

I make a beeline for Landing at %30, but got distracted last flight and powered off at %8 :$
