Mavic crash on auto take off?

Hi there, I am very new mavic owner. However I have been flying drones for a couple of years now.

I went to take off yesterday and while it was initiating the auto take off it drifted backwards pretty fast right into the garage door and crashed to the ground.

2 broken props but does not appear to be any other damage it was only a few inches off of the ground.

Any idea what happened?

GPS not locked in and AC in Atti mode?

Did you wait for the green GPS bar to show on your feed before take off showing GPS was locked in?

Oh I kind of assumed it wouldn't do an auto take off until It had a proper lock on GPS.

Come to think about it I was in a rush to get it off of the ground and its very likely I didnt wait for a full GPS lock

don't worry we have all done the same thing, i did exactly what you did once in a hurry to show it to a friend, next thing it was happily sitting in a bush in my garden
