My bird just seems like does not wanna focus and/or stay in focus. I keep it on AF usually, but even tried MF and still the video quality looks very muddy and out of focus...

If using AF then you will need to tap on the screen to focus. If you have it on AFC then it will focus for you. Perhaps you could post some video so we know what you mean with the focus.

Switch from ntsc to pal and back to ntsc resets camara, fixed it for me.

Respectfully, if you're going to post a problem, and someone gives you a suggestion for a fix, at least let us know if you tried it or not.
