I bought these car windshield shades on Amazon that remind me of the landing pads for drones except these are a fraction of the price and literally the same thing without the landing pad print and they fold up nice and compact with a much larger landing area so,,,

I don't know, I think the bigger the better in this situation. I use the PGYTECH landing pad and its a decent size, the more landing surface I have the better in my opinion.

The small pad is a nice option, but I prefer a 30" pad for general use and have a 60" pad from Hoodman for sandy, dusty, filthy locations.
