I just had to share this. This is the best adaptor I've seen yet. He makes them in 2 sizes. For smaller tablets and bigger tablets.

A few weeks back i found someone who made S shaped brackets that clipped into the controller slots and allowed you to slip a tablet into them ..... i dont want a massive bracket thing to hold a tablet ....

I cant find the S shaped grips ....

Just messaged him about it. I wonder if it reduces range at all because it blocks the line of sight between the antennas and the drone.

His reply: There are no interference issues. There is clear line of sight when the drone is in front of you. The tablet mounts in the same location as the tablets on the phantoms and inspires and there's no issues switch those.

Here are the S shaped grips you are most likely talking about (see 23:45 in the video). I think they might eventually become available at Carolina dronz. I think this guy is affiliated with them in some way. The s grips look like the easiest solution for mounting tablets larger than an iPad mini (which fits perfectly without any adapter).

I like the S clips. Small, light & easy to carry. Only thing I don't like about them is it positions the controller arms further out then the controller and at a angle. They just need to be a bit longer so the controller arms are more comfortable to hold in your palm while flying. Also every tablet is different in thickness so there's that.

For an I Pad Mini you do not need any heavy adapters. I just put it in and it works. the corners go into the slots look at this you tube video:
