With tax season coming up I am wondering how many of us are able to write off the cost of our Mavic as a business expense. I seen a post on here from a roofer wanting to take roof pics, real estate agents of course, farmers checking on livestock and crops.. the list could go on. For me, i own a collision business and my plan is to use Arial pictures as marketing and getting traffic to my web site and facebook page. Maybe even make my own calander to give to customers with local arial pics, have to check to rules about that one though.. My accountant told be ya for sure. :)

I was considering it myself. However, decided against it because I don't have my Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification yet. I so I figured if I got audited I may have to produce it. If I don't then I'm illegal. I know it's a stretch.
