ND Filter Gimble covers for Mavic anybody tried them yet

Surely they are still going to suffer from all the same issues of flare and reflections the stock clear cover has?

Interesting; I had not seen those. I bought a set of ND filters that fits on the front of the camera lens, plus a separate gimbal protector/shade that is fully open in the center.

If I understand the photo above, those will restrict air into the cooling fan behind the gimbal, just like the clear OEM cover. I would expect overheating would be possible, especially on hot days.

Maybe I will just use them for protection in transport If the Mavic will overheat with them fitted

I got them for my trip to hawaii, just got back. They are essential any time you are over water with the sun in the shot.
