New mavic owner after buying a phantom 3 standard

I bought a phantom 3 standard feb 8th and fell in love. i invested in alfa antennas and maxed out my distance at 12000ft. it was at that moment i know i needed a better drone so i ordered a mavic yesterday from dji and recieved a tracking number today. i look foward to chatting in the forum.

Mavic is definitely a much better drone.

Same. I had the dbs mod on my phantom 3. I got my mavic today. Its way better. The distance is nuts. I actually got scared and turned back on my first flight because it was out alot further than i was used to. The signal really penetrates the trees. Im very impressed. It was a pain to get flying though.

As far as DJI products are concerned I came from a P3S as well, still love it and going to keep it as a backup. I needed better range though so I went with the Mavic.

IMO the P3S camera isnt that far behind the Mavics, the Mavics camera is better by a hair though.
