Obstacle avoidance question

Wondering if anyone has any relevant experience with the obstacle avoidance on the P4 as I assume the mavic will be the same. How large does an object have to be for it to work? For example, in the follow me mode, or just flying otherwise, will small things such as power lines be avoided? I'm thinking they won't be. So, how about such things a bit bigger, but not SO big? Thanks.

DJI does not mention the exact size of objects to avoid. Here's what they recommend avoiding:

• Small objects (e.g. small branches and power lines)
• Transparent objects
• Objects in low light conditions
