Can someone please remind me what the expected obstacle avoidance behaviour is, if any, when descending towards level ground in forward flight.

a) Detect ground with quadruple beep, come to a stop, land if down stick remains commanded.

or

b) Detect ground, level off briefly, continue descent and land while still in motion even if that is 15mph, if down stick remains commanded.

I would swear mine used to do a) and now does b).

All sensors are turned on. Forward obstacle avoidance works fine and stops before hitting things. VPS seems to work fine as numerals turns red below 3.0' as expected. Precision landing works most of the time. If I stick my hand up beneath my mavic when hovering it does not retreat though, which is odd. Have re calibrated VPS but no change.

So I am wondering if I am having a brain fade here, or if there is something amiss with my unit or the current firmware .0500.
