Quick question about take off

I know this is probably a frowned upon question....But could you hold the Mavic in your hand and use the other hand to slide to take off? Basically launch from your hand or does it have to be on the ground?

Yes, it's pretty easy to do, there are a couple threads about it. You should let it initialize on the ground first though.

As long as you initialize it on the ground first you should be good to go, as Kamalou mentioned

This is what I was always doing with my Phantom 4 and never had a problem.
