I'm flying out to Portland tomorrow for 3 days. I was seeing if there are any good places near downtown to fly the mavic and get some good footage. Looks like friday and Saturday is my best chance as its only shows a 20% chance of rain. I saw that someone on this forum got in trouble and was told that drones were not able to fly in state parks, is that true? My plan is to fly it around Multnomah falls, maybe latourell falls, and wahkeena falls. Then maybe another day go to the coast and check out haystack rock.
Anyone have any other recommendations or advisories i should know of?
Also recommendations of some eateries and breweries would be appreciated as well.
