Setting Mavic controler W/O drone on

Is it possible to look through the Mavic Pro DJI Go 4 app without the drone up and ready to go?

not really everything shows pretty much as zero, u can look through it but are unable to change much if anything at all, as soon as you try it will default back to zero

Yes. Some of the settings will not be available and many won't show the proper selection while the Mavic is disconnected.

It is a real pain in the butt. Burning through a battery charge just to do some setup. I noticed that the Mavic itself gets hot just sitting on a table while I painfully attempt to drill down into the layers of settings.

Not really, I want to try all sorts of settings to see what I like best. And I don't want to do that sitting in the hot sun burning up a battery instead of flying. So I have to plug it all together in my little house Travel Trailer and waste another battery charge.

You have plenty of time, just relax and enjoy. I have over 75 charges on 4 different [emoji367] so that's not a problem.
