    Hey all,

I am starting to study for the part 107 FAA exam.

There are lots of websites online that have a study program to help learn the material.

I am looking to split the cost of a program with someone, or if you have already completed your exam and now have dormant study guide, I am interested. Why not re-coup some of your $ for something you already used?

    Thank you!

I just took the UAS test for FAA part 107. It wasn't too bad - I don't think most people need to spend money to take a class. The FAA has study guides right on the website, and I spent about 2-3 hours reviewing them. I did take flying lessons when I was younger, so if you've got any experience with aviation, it will help.
Be able to read a sectional map with symbols, airspace indicators, etc.
Understand weather, and aviation weather reports.
    Understand the restrictions.
A lot of it is common sense stuff - I would say about 1/3 are basic common sense safety questions that shouldn't pose too much of a challenge.

This is a great idea but I'm probably too late to get in on it. Please let me know. I've seen the $150 online seminar deal and a $300 version from Ground school who claim to have a 99% pass the first time rate.

Do you think a license private pilot can just take the thing then or should I actually crack open a study guide?

I plan on taking my test next week. I've used the study guide and practice tests found online, 3drobotics has a 121 question practice exam.
