Sudden altitude change - what if?

Hello, I go to Norway soon and I would like to know whant happens if a drone flies above the ground and suddenly it is flying 400 meters above the ground because it flies over a cliff. I have my flight altitude set to max 120 meters.

I would be grateful for any info from people that tried something like this before.

Nothing will happen, the Mavic only reads its height from the take off altitude so even if you flew over a valley that is a mile deep, it will still only show its height relative to its take off altitude..

If you then flew down below your take off altitude, it will show a negative altitude..
