My first attempt shooting surfing. Also my first attempt at using desktop video editing software! Got up early to fly, then spent the rest of the morning watching youtube tutorials on how to make a video...

Any tips for adjusting video settings for the bad highlights in the waves?

Are the very blown highlights at about 28s something that would be fixed by ND filter? Or is that just limitation of the small sensor in the lighting conditions?
