TK102B TRACKER GPS and BT Locator

$18.99 Tk102b gps tracker, $5 dollar speedtalkmobile.com prepaid card, $3.99 BT Locator(cheap ebay), and a piece of industrial velcro that holds upto 10lbs. (Trackimo there for comparison only) $28 initial payment for product and $5 a month service that rolls over 2g data service (speedtalkmobile.com) for all unused mins/data and that can be rolled over every other month for up to 6 months. So if you don't physically track it that month those mins/data is good for the 2nd month of service so only $30 a year or 2¢ a text. I live in the US and everyone told me 2g doesn't work here, so I took a chance, here in Illinois it works great, so hopefully this helps some on out! About a 3-5 meter gps accuracy and 80ft BT locating with loud beeper!

Still smaller and lighter than Trackimo with the nice 3d printed piece from Isreal. And the Trackimo is a $100 to start off. Didn't notice any battery problems at all before or after. Just original version was big and bulky and about 27g of extra plastic, so definitely smaller.

Why do we need a gps tracker ? Couldn't you just use your flight history of where it crashed or landed and enter gps coordinate into Google map?

I have one of these tk102's. Could you tell me if it interfered with the mavic's flying in any way??? Compass etc...........Could you also explain how you went about stripping the plastic cover off it and what you covered it with? Many thanks.
