Headed to China next week, plan to take my little flying friend flying! Everything I've read goes along with this (video is quit amusing ) Always read your carriers regulations and rules of the country your traveling too, just to make sure!

Be aware that when travelling on internal flights within China, security may not allow you to carry rechargable batteries over a certain size on board the aircraft. In fact we were stopped at the airport departure security check and had to hand over all rechargeable powerbanks regardless of capacity before entering the terminal. Baggage and people were scanned and if ang batteries were found we were made to open cases and remove and throw them into a waste bin. No chance of ever getting them back. My kids had small powerbanks that were taken off them. And trust me they don't miss anything.
