Trouble Moving Video Files

I have been having trouble transferring files from my memory card to my computer. Takes forever and sometimes.takes the computer forever to even open the contents of memory card.

Have you tried a different memory card? That one looks like its been used pretty hard.

The picture is bad but that card is in good shape, only a couple weeks old.

How are you connecting/plugging the card into your computer? Sounds like you might be plugged into a USB-2 port or adapter - which would be very slow.

I think the card reader slot on my laptop is bad. I tried on another identical computer and it worked fine. I am now using an adapter that plugs into a USB port and it seems better.

If you have a USB3 port buy a USB3 card reader.
4K video is huge file size.
Proper USB3 might well be faster than any onboard reader/adapter combo.
