UK vs China differences?

I'm in the UK and trying to pick up a Mavic before heading to Africa next week.

There are a few new ones going on Ebay which have not had their warranty activated. They are going for a £200ish premium as most retailers still don't have it in stock. I don't mind paying the premium to get it this week, but a couple of the UK based sellers have Chinese versions.

I've seen talk of there being differences in the drones and not just the charger - there was a thread here about the Chinese ones not picking up satellites in well in Europe + someone mentioned the Chinese versions have compatibility issues with the Litchi app.

Does anyone have any solid info on this at all? Would be very much appreciated.

The drone is 100% identical.

Any idea about differences in firmware and things like altitude limits?
