I was flying yesterday evening and when I started up the controller and drone a message appeared to the effect: "updated to national rules." First time I've seen such a message.
Hmm. I was in class G airspace with class C beginning 2000 ASL (about 1800 above me at that location).
No warnings.
Flew it slightly more than 500 m away. No warnings.
So, not sure what that National Rules message really meant other than where I was, I was legally in class G so no issues.
