Do you think it will overheat at all and any issues keeping the legs folded while the MP is on?

Looks like a great idea for those getting some ground shots! From an engineering stand point it shouldn't overheat at all.

Cool air is drawn from the front of the aircraft, passed through the Mavic fuselage and expelled out the back. So having the legs folded up should not make any difference to the operating temperature.

I've done this several times. It's worked great except it's kinda hard to work the gimble and focus while holding it so I've had someone else hold it like a gimble camera while I operate from the app.

Should work great, and having arms folded does not affect cooling.

It looks bulky and don't like the idea that you have to use 2 hands to hold it.

A few months ago, I seen someone on facebook that came up with a "ok" design for a handheld.

I do however like how people come up with ideas to make our drones do more than what was intended.... So I hope the people sell allot of them, and do a re-design and/or make something else very useful for our Mavics
