Video Jerking side to side vs forward.

I've noticed both in practice, and watching video's that when running forward the video is smooth.
if you hover and pan to the left or right the video is jerky?
Is there a reason for this? and is there a way to correct it?

I can't explain it too deeply but maybe someone else can. But it's simple physics. Turn your head a couple inches and your whole fov changes. Walk a few inches forward and your fov remains most likely the same. Now when your 400ft in the sky these effects are even greater. I'm still learning to pan slower and smoother too. It's tricky.
