What is the difference between GO and GO 4 apps?

So I have only had my Mavic for two weeks (1st DJI product) and have been using the GO 4 app but read a release that said the GO app had just been updated.

So am I using the wrong app or what is the difference between these two apps and which should I be using on iOS?

Seems a bit confusing to have two apps with similar names.

You can only fly the Mavic with DJI GO 4. DJI GO (3) is only compatible with other aircraft released before the Mavic.
