I was picking up the Mavic to help shoot videos of camping trips and home movies. But this thread is About shooting pool, drinking beer, going to the zoo, painting, video games etc. What other cool stuff are you guys into?

I am into climbing, cycling, mountaineering, flying (I am an instrument rate-private pilot, paraglider pilot and sailplane pilot) but my favorite thing is being up in the mountains have have been using quads to shoot some great photos and videos. I am looking to the Mavic to take that to a new level.

More to do with a kid texting and driving, he broke my back while I was sitting at a red light a few years ago. Surgery didn't take very well so I just deal with it now.
In an instant life changes. Sure I got paid but I'd give back every penny plus a bunch to have my back back.
Glass blowing is tougher on me due to the constant up and down, hammering, not so much.

Photography, videography and electronics. I have just about had to give up cycling after a serious accident a year ago in June. Fell hard on my left hip and at 58 year of age I came real close to breaking it -- spent 4 months on crutches. I've had numerous other falls while cycling over the years that resulted in breaking colar bones twice as well as other painful injuries. The standard racing cycle like the Trek Madone I have puts you pretty high off the ground so falling at 58 years of age has a high chance of breaking something that might never fully heal. Sucks, but I just can't imagine myself on a recumbent.
