Well, after canceling an order from one retailer and reordering directly from DJI my Mavic finally arrived today. Of course, it's broken. There is a small protector on the back of the camera. Looks like it protects the cable. I've noted in the threads that others have had pieces break off from the camera but don't recall this particular piece being an issue. Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to send it back. How quick is the turn around.

Yes, a few other people here have reported this issue.

You probably don't want to hear this, but hang in, it's worth it.
 
WOW, another one. I'd seriously check operation, make sure no immediate issues, and then superglue that thing back on. When I get a Mavic I'll be gluing that piece whether broken or not, seems like a weak link...

Also I'm going to get one of those front mounted gimbal locks. Something about shoving the OEM lock back there over and over, not good.
