Hello everyone? I've had the mavic for about 4 months and I've had an issue with it flying at half speed in GPS mode twice. Once coming back from Florida where I couldn't fly (sandwiched between 2 airports NFZ) and recently after a three week layoff due to cold with all three batteries. Any one else have this happen?

I have had issues with flying near NFZ zones. The issue went away after I landed the mavic, restarted and took off.

I've had this happen once or twice, not sure what the deal is - didn't look into it much. I don't recall if I landed and took off again or what to fix.

If you have OA on, that does limit your max speed to about 22mph. Not sure what "half-speed" is to you.

It got up to full speed in sport mode, just in GPS mode it would not go over 10 mph with little to no wind resistance..

It is well known that the speed of the Mavic Pro is reduced to about 10 mph if it's hugging the NFZ boundary (see below for an example). Just steer it away from the NFZ and you will regain the speed of 35-36 km/h in GPS mode.

Thanks for the info. To be clear, I was not in the NFZ but near the boundary. Restarting the Mavic seemed to fix the issue. I was able to fly the same route I had issues earlier (near the NFZ boundary) without speed limitations after the restart.

Same problem here. Im not near a NFZ. The only way to spee up in gps mode is disabling obstacle avoidance. During GPS mode with obstacle avoidance enabled my aircraft only fly a top speed of 9 to 10 miles per hour. HELP Please!

It hasn't been a consistent problem. it happens 3 out of every 5 flights for me. It is annoying however and makes me use sport mode more than I would like to..I've been hoping that a firmware update would fix it but no luck this far...

Going to update to the last firmware tomorrow. I hope it resolve the problem.

No luck for me. Still the same after update. :( Its like tripod mode in gps mode. Max speed is 10 mph.

MrEdCeD thanks for posting your results.I did some deep discharges on the batteries it seemed to help, so I thought, but then it came back. I tried contacting DJI but I got no response. Now that's its summer it's time to get to the bottom of this. I'll definitely let you know if I make any progress...

It definitely is, and I'll let you know if I make any progress...
Hey. Good news. I calibrate sensors with DJI Assistant. Now the aircraft is capable to go up to 20mph in position mode.
Calibrate your bird and let me know.
