It appears to me, as an old timer that these guys are so caught up with there computer data ...It is taking them in cyclonic circles....they get so dizzy they do not know where to get off...Boeing Max 8 comes to mind.
It would appear allot of DJI Drones will be grounded as well .
I,m in Qld Australia ...if that makes any difference. Can not get any connection to Assistant 2. I get a big window saying for my protection this site is being blocked.
I did an update as requested, On Go4 to update Goggles as well. Disaster! the goggles lost control...had to push RTH. Tried to...
Thanks for the post. Had the exact same scenario today, tho avoided DJI as it was after hours.....Had just put the sprung extenders on Mavic did not like it at all.
Took them off ....not a problem!
All the old View cameras had the ability to tilt the lens , though I doubt that any aerial cameras would have used this technique as the aircraft would have been constantly moving ...though dark room enlargers could change perspective.
We have what they call a SWER line (Single Wire Earth Return) running down the middle of our property. I remember flying close to this line, forgetting it was there. The MP started to fly very erratically.....Then I realized it must be interference from the power line.
I have seen large military choppers flying @ 50ft on our cattle stud ,Qld Australia. I could show you footage, "but I don't want to rock the boat"The Mavic seems to go up awfully fast , but awfully slow to descend......maybe the safest thing would be , If you are not sure....stay where you...
A hypothetical! If you were flying at say 500m.high, 3000m out over a hill, and the drone decided it needed to return home or you pushed the RTH. Would the drone go down to the designated RTH altitude say 50m; hence loosing connection?
The basic optics rule is that the lager the projected image is ,ie. the sensor, the lower the depth of field, so you need a smaller aperture. Having said that with the drone I'm thinking you are generally working in the infinity range, where depth of field is incidental.
Thanks for that info! Never to old to learn...I am very old school, when Hasselblads had winders and 120 film. When shooting with transparency film I would always use three exposures. Never drempt of being able to merge them ...brilliant!
