I don’t think of this as a Mavic Pro replacement. I think of it as the test bed for the Next Mavic Pro. The next Mavic Pro will have these proposed new features with more battery and much better camera, more sensors.

Check out my experience and oh so close call with a hawk. Birds scare the heck out of me. I’m only a visitor in their world. Much respect!!

Agree. I meant the motors high pitch noise seems to be gone from the Platinum.

It sounds like the Mavic Pro Platinum has lost the high pitch sound of that the Mavic Pro has. That high pitch of the Mavic or even the Phantom is the sound that kind of annoying to my ears.

I’m pretty sure the Hawk came out good. That was my concern after I got my stomach out of my throat. I watched it fly away straight away from my Mavic.

I found another Mavic Pro Platinum Gideon from the launch. This one is off the Platinum alone. The MVPP definitely lose the the high pitch.

I am running the beta on my iPad mini 4 with no issues. What cable are you using? If using an Apple or a low cost cable you can easily have no video or video drop outs. I recommend Anker cables from Amazon. They are much stronger and thicker which should provide better signal transmission. DJI...
