You need a mini hdmi converter from your device into the goggles. the little converter uses a battery to so you will have a cable for a battery pack too.

I think for sure if the pilot saw the drone and reported it you would get a letter. I think the video would merit a letter and maybe a fine the OP was pretty close I would never get that close..I am hoping a little of that was zoom.
