I bought a spare battery for my Mavic in November. I haven't flown much due to weather but the last two flights I've been getting a battery error with this battery. It has been charged 4, now 5 times. Today I tried discharging the battery to about 8% then doing a full charge and the problem...
Update. I heard back from DJI Customer Service this morning, advising my drone SN was reset and giving me the link to purchase DJI Care Refresh. My Mavic is now covered.
A little background. I had a Phantom 3A. It flew great but developed the infamous motor mount cracks. DJI fixed it but I lost confidence in the drone. That and because it was a PITA to take anywhere due to it's size I sold it.
When the Mavic was introduced I wanted one badly but was able to...
Well, got a reply this morning telling me they have "already escalated this issue to our Verification team to clear your records".
Once they get a reply I will get another email.
I had the same issue, called today and was told the same thing. Sent the email this afternoon. Will hopefully hear back tomorrow.
I'll add that I can not tell this refurbished unit from a new one. It looks great. I believe it was manufactured August 2017 according to the SN.
I answered phone in the arms because that's what I plan on using when my Mavic arrives today. Mostly because my phone (Galaxy S7) has a bright screen that I can easily read in direct sunlight.
I tried a couple of different tablets when I had my P3A. I always had problems seeing the screen...
Thanks. That's kind of along the lines of what I'm thinking. I will fly with my Galaxy S7 at first to see how things go. If I have issues the iPhone will be in my future.
My Mavic is on order and scheduled for delivery Monday. I've been doing a lot of reading on the Apple v Android issues with DJI Go. In the past I had no issues with my P3A and an Android device but I'm kind of resigned to the fact that I will eventually have to switch to Apple.
At the moment...
Thanks for the welcome.
My P3A was a refurbished unit. When I bought it I reasoned it would have been thoroughly tested and should be good to go. It looked like new and flew great.
Hopefully the Mavic will be the same.
Hi Folks. I've been lusting for a Mavic Pro since they were introduced. I finally decided to get one and ordered a refurbished unit from DJI through Amazon.
I had a DJI P3A. I never had problems flying it but it developed cracks in the motor mount area of the shell. DJI fixed it under...
It seems someone has already designed a tablet holder.
DJI Mavic 7-8" Tablet adapter- Preorder
I'm glad to see it for a couple reasons.
1. I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 and really don't want to get another phone to be compatible.
2. I own a Nivdia K1 Shield that worked great with my P3A.
