I got some fantastic footage of a misty winter sunrise this weekend, but whenever the camera is pointed to the sun there is a small round green circle that appears in the frame. Is there any way to avoid this? Would a ND filter fix it?

The exact same thing just happened to me. Sport mode, full throttle, full ascent. Do we need to be worried about this? Can it hard the battery or the bird?

Yes, more weight to it than I expected. And, it has handles you could rig up to connect to plastic tent stakes if need be. At 19 bucks, it is a good solution for where I am - with 6 inches of snow.
