try to re-install your Polarpro filters, push them in firmly at all sides to create a good seal around the gimbal.

I set my RTH to max altitude (500m?). This is to ensure I clear most of the obstacles when my drone is forced to fly home. However I don't find myself using RTH often... when all is good I will maneuver my drone back to me with reference to the mini map
I have jello effect only in one flight... that was in -6C (21F) with pretty strong winds. And that was the only jello out of my 10+ flights. Do let us know how what is DJI's response; if its a defect I would like mine repaired as well.
For hand catch I just control my Mavic to descend to eye level, then turn the Mavic a quarter sideways to have its belly facing me. Then reach out my hand pinch the belly of Mavic while my other hand push the left stick all the way down. Don't need to flip the sports mode switch
