So in my case it turned out to be something to do with the cable I was using, even though the same cable always worked fine to connect my Nexus to my laptop etc. Anyway I got a new usb-C and it all works fine, stereo view in Litchi is friggin awesome!!!

Yes the microusb cable on the left hand side of the controller is unplugged. The bottom port works fine when i plug my tablet in, it's just with a type-C cable that I have this problem where it doesn't see the controller

Yes the LH-cable is unplugged. It's as if the RC doesn't see the device when using a type-c cable, it does however charge my phone :/

But it works fine when used with a micro-usb cable, and both DJI-Go and Litchi connect with no issue. Seems to me like the same port somehow does not support usb-c altogether but I cant see why

Don't do it dude. Resist the urge. My 1st flight was indoors and the Mavic drifted as I was landing (think vision had poor lighting to work correctly) smashed against table and scratched the rear props. So gutted I almost considered selling it :D:p

I have really good eyesight and at just 100m it's really hard to spot already

Does the RTH button only work when no smartphone is plugged in? First flight today and tried pressing it and it beeped but nothing happened, whereas using the RTH function in DJI Go worked absolutely fine.
